Do you want to become a Pilates teacher?
The Intensive Program presents how to teach Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES® exercises safely and effectively to a range of clients. The approach is based on the STOTT PILATES Principles and integration of the fascial system. It will introduce the STOTT PILATES Movement System™, which provides a framework to create intelligent and mindful programming.
Student prerequisites:
• College Level Anatomy Course. If you do not have one, you can take one online or it is highly recommended to take STOTT PILATES Functional Anatomy Course which we are offering 3/14-3/20 which is 50% off for LV.1 IP students.

What you will learn
• The what, how and why of the STOTT PILATES Principles and how to apply them to all exercises
• STOTT PILATES Warm Ups • Complete breakdown, including goals, muscular emphasis, movement sequencing – of Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES exercises
• Modifications to address specific alignment issues and individual needs
• Power workout
• Static Postural Analysis and assessment to aid in program creation
• Incorporating light equipment including Flex-Band®, Fitness Circle® Resistance Ring and Arc Barrel/Stability Barrel™ to support and intensify exercises
• Exercise layering related to effective program design
• Workout composition for personal and group training
• Effective communication, observational skills, verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
STOTT PILATES LV.1 Intensive Program (LV.1 IP) is a comprehensive training blocked into three modules: Intensive Mat Plus (IMP)Intensive Reformer (IR), and Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrels (ICCB). Upon completion of this internationally accredited program, you will be a teacher, coach and guide for Pilates students under STOTT LV.1 Intensive Program Certification. STOTT PILATES offers a safe, effective and contemporary approach to the original Pilates method based on modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation. We will offer Advanced Matwork (AM), Advanced Reformer (AR), and Injuries & Special Populations (ISP) later in the year or 2025 based on your interest and demand.
Dates:
*** 3/14-3/20 Functional Anatomy STOTT PILATES
  • 12-5pm with a scheduled 30-min break. Sunday 3/17 is a day off (3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on)
4/24-5/2 Intensive Mat Plus (IMP)
  • 9:00-2:30 with a scheduled 60-min break. Sunday 3/28 is a rest day. (4 days on, 1 day off, 4 days on)
5/10-5/20 Intensive Reformer (IR)
  • 9:00-2:30 with a scheduled 60-min break. Wednesday 5/15 is a rest day (5 days on, 1 day off, 5 days on)
Fall DTB Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrels (ICCB)
  • 5 days. Dates do be determined once group is established to identify what works best for everyone
