Beyond the Biomechanical Principles Workshop
October 25 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
| $210Sunday, October 25th with Lisa Morton
2-5 pm
This workshop deepens an instructor’s understanding of foundational movement concepts — exploring how the principles have evolved, introducing the lower body mobility and stability concept, and refining strategies for client alignment and muscle engagement.
Workshop Overview and Goals
- Foundational Framework — Discover how the core principles form the foundation for movement programming.
- Anatomical Depth — Deepen and expand the anatomical basis for the principles through new exploratory exercises.
- Kinetic Integration — Examine how movement patterns support optimal function and force management through the lower kinetic chain.
Key Topics Covered
- Awareness and Alignment — Evaluating and correcting static and dynamic alignment.
- Muscle Engagement — Supporting proper recruitment patterns during movement sequences.
- Sixth Principle Integration — Adding the lower body mobility and stability concept, focused on flexibility and force transfer.
