Charlotte Alimanestianu
Charlotte began practicing yoga in 2010 after her dad insisted she attend a class with him. She fell in love with yoga’s physical, mental, and spiritual benefits and as her practice progressed, yoga became her vehicle to go inwards and stay present. After graduating from Bowdoin College in 2016, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Kripalu Center in the Berkshires. Her training at Kripalu introduced her to the many ways in which yoga can be integrated off the mat and in our everyday lives. She taught for three years in Boston before moving to Jackson Hole in September 2019.
Charlotte’s alignment-based classes build heat and energy through creative sequences and strong flows while simultaneously encouraging intentional movement and exploring stillness. She invites her students to take a non-judgmental approach to their yoga practice and to honor and respect their bodies wherever they may be at that moment; a pose today may feel different than it felt yesterday or than it will feel tomorrow and Charlotte strives to show her students that this experience is what makes yoga so humbling
