Sarah began practicing yoga while attending college in New York City, seeking an escape from the hustle-and-bustle of city life. Finding herself in a small room jam-packed with people of all ages and bodies of all sizes moving, breathing, meditating, glowing- she knew it was a community she wanted to be a part of. She was immediately hooked to the empowering yet centering nature of the practice, challenging herself to reach new physical goals while finding moments of peace, focus, and meditation on the mat. Wanting to deepen her practice and share her love of yoga with others, she completed her 200-hr YTT in Arizona in 2015. Her goal in class is to create an environment in which students can take risks, challenge themselves, and find a deeper connection between body and mind, so they can step off the mat feeling energized, grounded, and rejuvenated.
