Niki Sue teaches with a genuine love and deep care for supporting yogis on and off the mat. Her experience enables her to gracefully instruct and encourage deeper exploration in the practice while letting go of desiring an outcome in the physical expression. Niki Sue teaches Ashtanga, Flow, Hot Fusion, Hot Yoga, and Bhakti Flow. She teaches with a sincere attention to bandhas, breath, dristhi, and form. Her classes offer a fun and playful environment, while focusing on alignment, technique, and each student’s needs.
Niki Sue is a longtime student of Richard Freeman and remains loyal to his teaching style, which is an Iyengar approach to the Ashtanga Yoga system built on the thread of the breath. She is also grateful to other influential yoga teachers that she has studied with including Tim Miller, D’ana Baptiste, David Williams, David Swenson, Judith Lassiter, Nicki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Bhavani Maki, and Noah Maze. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered teacher with an E-RYT 500 certificate and has been teaching yoga since 2003.
When she’s not teaching yoga, Niki Sue co-owns Fly Jackson Hole with her husband, and is a loving mother to two beautiful children. She enjoys skiing, paragliding, mountain biking, gardening, and playing with her kids.
