This 8-week series will help you learn tools and techniques to calm the nervous system and reduce the stress response through yoga, gentle movement and breath-work. It is a trauma-informed practice for anyone experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, fatigue, extreme levels of stress and/or emotional pain.
We will use yoga practices, mindfulness and somatic techniques to find center, ease and calm; helping to dispel trauma and stress from the body in order to maintain balance and well-being. Each class provides a safe and welcoming environment to quiet your mind and reconnect to your body, while also offering access to new, personal tools you can use to feel grounded, empowered and self-regulated.
All ages welcome and no experience is required.
