Through mindful movement, breath, and thoughtfully choreographed sequencing, our vinyasa flow classes aim to expand awareness within the mind and body. These classes are rigorous, full body workouts. They include: 3-5 sets of Sun Salutation As, 3-5 sets of Sun Salutations Bs, standing postures, balancing postures, floor postures, backbends, and inversions. After a strong flow warmup, we aim to hold postures for at least 5 breaths, take time to move into proper alignment, and connect with the steady pace of the breath. Flow: Integrative, Sunrise, Bhakti + Gentle
These are all variations of flow classes. Integrative Flow explores and refines the anatomical position of your body within each posture. Sunrise Flow is a fun early morning Vinyasa Flow class. Bhakti Flow celebrates devotion, gratitude and LOVE. Gentle Flow offers a more accessible approach to the practice for all ages and body types. Maui classes are playful, uplifting, and inspiring flow classes that use props and Iyengar techniques to build a strong alignment-based practice. These classes build "tapas" (heat) in the body by flowing and by slowing it down. By holding postures for longer increments of time, your work begins when you want to get out of the pose. Ashtanga Yoga is a lineage of yoga passed on from Sri K Pattabhi Jois that unites practitioners all around the world. The practice expands with the practitioner and creates a steady platform for the mind to settle into. The practice becomes more about the breath and focusing the mind than the postures; however, the set sequences do become more and more physically challenging as you advance in the practice. Hot 60, 75, 90
Hot 60 is a 60 minute all levels class. This 26 asana series is designed to stretch and warm the muscles, while encouraging balance, strength, flexibility and weight-loss. While Hot Yoga is a great place for beginners to initiate their yoga practice, it also offers the seasoned yogi continued growth with challenging advanced postures. Do not be alarmed if our instructors take the liberty to add some postures to the set sequence to further serve you in deepening your practice! Great for all levels. 105 degrees, 50% humidity.
Get down and sweaty in this cardio driven heated class. You'll flow and hold postures, explore back bends and hip openers, build strength and flexibility in a dynamic, fun, calorie burning class. This practice is a nice blend for those looking to explore new postures and sequencing set to music in the hot room. 100 degrees plus 50% humidity.
Hot Yin Yang
Fuses the flow from vinyasa classes with deep stretching from yin classes to find balance on and off the mat. Expect to flow for 20 minutes in the beginning of class before you wind down and settle into the yin practice of stretching. All Levels, great for beginners and advanced yogis alike. When muscle meets yoga, Sculpt is born. Safely incorporating free weights into your flow, you'll intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves such as bicep curls, lunges, and squats. You will jump through plyometrics in this class! What does that mean? It means that this class will boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you flow, jump, and sweat to upbeat tunes! 85 - 88 degrees + humidity
Re-shape your mind and body in this upbeat movement class. Barre uses props such as a ballet barre, resistance bands, balls, light weights, and your yoga mat. Cardio Dance Barre
Dance your worries away! Get your sweat on with this cardio dance infused barre class. Using props such as weights, resistance bands, and playground balls you will tone your whole body while getting your heart pumping in cardio dance choreography. Align & Reset
In this class you will learn to reset patterns and misalignments that are caused by everyday living. Whether through sitting, sleeping, walking or playing in the mountains, our bodies establish patterns that take us out of our natural alignment and create tightness and imbalances in the body. Consciously aligning our bones and muscles in simple yoga postures, sometimes with the help of props, we can reset these patterns and come into greater freedom in our bodies. This class focuses on supporting the back through various modalities: AIS stretching, targeted strengthening exercises, yoga postures, and proper alignment.
